Lisa Noonan - Consultant

Lisa Noonan assists in the providing of advice to McLaughlin Law's clients who operate in the film and TV industries.

Lisa began her legal career in 2000 with one of New Zealand's leading entertainment law firms, where she provided advice to a wide range of clients operating in every facet of the New Zealand film and TV industry. Lisa also advised clients operating in the music, visual arts and information technology industries.

Before joining McLaughlin Law as a consultant in 2008, Lisa worked in house for TVNZ, New Zealand's state funded television production and broadcasting company, providing legal advice specific to the launch of two new digital channels.

Lisa has particular expertise in providing legal advice on television content and production agreements and has advised some of New Zealand's most well known feature film producers and TV production companies in areas ranging from assessing the legal issues raised by reality TV and documentary programmes through to establishing joint venture production and financing arrangements for both film and TV projects. Lisa has also represented a wide range of other creatives within the film and TV industry, including specialist documentary, sports, and arts production houses, directors, presenters and industry organisations (including not for profit associations and charitable trusts).
