Emily Jackson - Solicitor

Emily began her career at one of New Zealand’s top commercial law firms and has a strong background in company and commercial law.  She has also spent time working in the employment law and intellectual property law fields.  These diverse areas have given her a broad range of skills in contractual drafting, research and company administration. 

Before beginning her career Emily spent several years as a professional dancer, and through her time in the entertainment industry has developed a keen interest in entertainment law.  She comes to the practice with a unique understanding of the issues currently facing the industry. 

Emily’s interests are reading, attending live gigs and teaching dance classes.  She is a fan of all genres of music, from classic rock and blues, to modern hip-hop and independent rock music.
